Today, on Nelson Mandela's 92nd birthday, 27 year old Louis won his first major championship - the 139th Open Championship.
Louis played majestic golf throughout the week - he started his bid for the title with a 65 on day one and, after a 06.41 tee time on Friday carded a 67 when most other players were blown off course by high winds.

This week Louis plays in the 139th Open Championship at the Old Course, St Andrews. This will be Louis' 4th apperance in the Championship.
Louis shot a magnificent 65 in the first round on Thursday and followed that up with a 67 on Friday morning after a 06.41 tee off time. These two great scores put him on twelve under par after two rounds.

Louis played in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond and in the first two rounds shot 71 and 74 giving a three over par total of 145 and missing the halfway cut by just one shot.
Italy's Edoardo Molinari won the title on twelve under par.
