Louis played in the final major of the year, the USPGA at Whistling Straits, the stunning course on the shores of Lake Michigan and he missed the halfway cut by just one shot.
Louis shot rounds of 71 and 75 leaving him on a two over par total of 146, the cut falling at one over par.

Louis mades his debut apperance in the WGC - Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club where he finished in a tie for 9th on five under par.
Louis shot rounds of 72, 70, 68 and finally a stunning 65 which was bogey free - the only other player without a bogey on his card on Sunday was Hunter Mahan who took the title.

South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen has been named The Race to Dubai Golfer of the Month for July following his magnificent seven shot victory in the 150th Anniversary Open Championship.
The 27 year old claimed his first Major title at the venue where every player wants to win - the Old Course at St Andrews - and he will receive an engraved alms dish and a jeroboam of Moët & Chandon champagne in recognition of his fantastic achievement.

Just four days after lifting the famous Claret Jug at St Andrews, Louis teed it up in the Nordea Scandinavian Masters at Bro Hoff Slott Golf Club just outside Stockholm in Sweden.
Louis received an invitation for the event from tournament sponsors Nordea and he finished in a tie for 4th in the event.
