Louis played in The Honda Classic at the PGA National Champion Course at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. Louis shot rounds of 67, 74, 71 and unfortunately due to illness withdrew halfway through the final round.
The tournament was won by Rory McIlroy, who finished on 12 under and takes the number one spot from Luke Donald in the official world rankings.

It’s too long since Chris Wood was the lead man in my weekly column, but I am certain he will feature far more prominently from now on and throughout the season.
Last year was forgettable for Chris in many ways, not least the last three months of it. A problem with a bulging disc in his back meant that he spent more time on the couch than he did challenging for honours on the European Tour.

Four days before the Volvo Champions at Fancourt, Branden Grace was contemplating watching it on television.
But victory in the Joburg Open gave him an invitation to join the European Tour’s elite and just one week later he was holding aloft the trophy that signalled his arrival as a champion of champions.
